Motivational Monday

So, I'm here to help. We're starting "Motivational Monday" here on the 4C blog. Our goal will be to provide you with something that will help you get past the Monday blues and on to a better frame of mind, a fresh perspective or a new outlook. We welcome your suggestions, questions or ideas for topics - so please feel free to comment below.

To me, one of the worst aspects of dreading Monday's comes when you're not happy at work. There's a myriad of reasons for this - don't like what you do, bad work environment, too much work, etc. But, the worst reason is this: your work is stopping you from doing what you WANT to do, what you LOVE, what you DREAM about doing. Look, I'm not talking about the "I never have to work again because I won the lottery" dream. Get serious, that's not going to happen. What I am talking about is that thing you think about when you have spare moments and can dream about the future you want. That thing that doesn't feel like work - because to you it's not.
