Depending on your age when you hear someone say “Jump” differing things may come to your mind. Our wiser (i.e. older) readers may think “how high?” as that was a common saying in their time. If you’re into music and grew up in the 80’s may start playing air guitar to Van Halen’s iconic hit or if you’re a bit younger you might think of other similar titled songs. Adrenaline junkies might think of base jumping or jumping out of airplanes.

How many of you thought of Steve Harvey? I’m betting zero.

Yes, the host of Family Feud who announced the winner of the Miss Universe pageant incorrectly late last year. That Steve Harvey.

He’s been an easy punch line over the past month, with nearly countless memes flooding the internet making fun of his very big and very public mistake. To his credit, he owned the mistake even though it’s not really clear that it was his fault. Regardless, he took responsibility for it, which is admirable in and of itself.

But, this post is not about that. This post is about a video that has gone viral lately in which Steve Harvey is speaking to the studio audience after a taping of Family Feud. In essence, he says you have to jump. I’m not going to try and explain it; it would fail to compare. Just watch the video below and JUMP!
