The Corey Diaries: Part 1 04/12/21 | Cory Hello. With Q2 in full swing, my responsibilities at the office have increased significantly. Not only do I personally admit every human who walks through our office doors, but I must take attendance every ten minutes to make sure everyone is still sitting at their desks where I left them. I’ve taken over this blog to ask for help. My treato bag is running out, but the team is too busy to refill it. Here are some of the things they think are more important than hand-feeding me or giving me all the love and attention a good boy could want: Rumors of a new Four Columns website are circulating — whatever that is, I hope treatos are included in their strategy sessions. Giving attention (that should be mine) to four new clients: Mission Waco, the State Bar of Texas Women in the Law Section, Champion Ranch and Twin Tree Homes. Celebrating the women in the office. They are my favorite, so I’ll let this one slide. Sorry, Doug. Designing and developing this year’s theme for the Extraco Event Center’s One HOT Music Fest. One major issue: they failed to feature me as a headline artist. Coordinating live Zoom events for SMB Suite. Rhymes with “treat”. Hmmm. Designing and developing new websites like it’s more important than keeping my treato bag stocked. Despicable. Traveling to something called an Indianapolis. Apparently there was an important basketball game. Somehow more important than playing ball with me in the office. Giving me a promotion to Pawductivity Manager. Then taking it away because it was an April Fools Day joke? A boy’s gotta make a living somehow. Spending quality time together for team building. But not inviting me, the most important team member. My canine senses would have been an asset at the escape rooms. Needless to say, I don’t know how much more I can take. If you want to spot me a new treato bag or add to the laundry list of tasks more important than me, talk to [email protected]. Also, if you have seen my tail, please let me know. I lost it last week and I am heartbroken without it. Licks, Corey
