MM: Work to the level you want to succeed 06/15/15 | Doug Cofer Hard work is, well, hard. Shocking right? Unfortunately, more and more you are seeing people who want to be really successful without really having to work for it. Maybe it's the culture of today, or a generational thing. I'm not really sure. But, what I do know is that success isn't something that's given to you, or something you just wake up one morning and it's there. One of our staff said today "Even the people who seem like overnight successes really aren't. There were countless times they put in the work that no one ever saw." Hammer meet nail. Anyone who thinks to themselves that doing just enough to get by, working the minimum required or trying to figure out a way to get rich quick while working as little as possible is going to be very disappointed. Those methods almost never work. And, most of the time, they fail miserably. Or maybe they achieve exactly as they should. Therein lies the point of this post. Work to the level you want to succeed. If you desire to be highly successful, understand you're going to have to work for it. Understand from the outset, only with great effort are great things achieved. If you put in the minimum or just enough to get by, don't expect much more than that. What's the old saying? You get out what you put in. So, how high are you aiming? What's your dream? Time to get to work.
