We easily become accustomed to our everyday routines, but taking small risks during everyday tasks can actually have big benefits. Your comfort zone is defined as behavior that keeps your anxiety levels low. So why should we expose our self to uncertainty every once in awhile? It turns out experiencing a little stress can increase our productivity and even help us to realize our full potentials. Placing yourself under a bit of pressure can be healthy and allow you to rise to the challenge. Stepping out of your comfort zone allows yourself to grow and even become more confident and creative. The more you start taking risks the easier it becomes. Need some inspiration? We came up with some ideas that can help you break out of your everyday habits. Take on a project you normally would not at work. Challenge yourself! You would be surprised what you are capable of when you are asked to rise to the occasion. Try a new restaurant Go somewhere you wouldn’t normally go during your lunch break. Read a new book. Pick out a genre you normally wouldn’t be interested in. Take up a new hobby Always wanted to try yoga or go hiking? Now is the time! Volunteer Give back to your community! This will help you feel good while helping others in need.
