Does your website generate leads?

Your company's website is the front door of your business these days. There is plenty of research out there that shows the vast majority (as high as 80%) of people look up companies online before they ever talk to or visit that place of business. Of course, this varies based on industry and business type. Still, the web has provided consumers the ability to educate themselves on companies they may consider doing business with. All without having to ever engage a representative of said company.

For some time the premise of websites consisted of having a bunch of information about your company, product or service and not much else. The "online brochure" concept lasted for most of 20 years. Now that's simply not enough. With the ease of mobile browsing and the ability to connect increasing over the last 5 years, now people require dynamic content to visit your site and keep visiting.

Here's the kicker though ... it's not enough to just have a website full of new and great content. People have to be able to find it first. This requires staying on top of the ever-changing search engine algorithms so your content and your business can be found easily on Google, Yahoo, etc.

And, finally, once people actually get to your site and its great content, what then? Is your website optimized for lead conversion? Between easy to locate and use contact forms and optimized landing pages, it's critical to make sure your prospective customers can virtually raise their hand once they're ready to talk.

We have been working with a new client for a few months now and in March we re-launched their website after optimizing and restyling it. Through this improvement and outbound campaigns we are executing, our client is seeing a consistent, daily lead flow of 2-5 per day. Their pipeline is now bursting with prospects engaged and ready to talk.

How does that compare with the lead generation you're seeing from your website? If you're thinking "I would love to be getting that many leads!" then you probably should get in touch with us ASAP.
