Creative Potluck Recap

Last Friday our team hosted the first new-and-improved Creative Potluck event! We were privileged to hear from city councilman, Dillon Meek, who offered a preview of some new projects and development currently happening in Waco. According to Meek, one of the city's biggest goals is to be friendly to both upcoming and seasoned entrepreneurs, even offering to strike deals with other Texas based companies to relocate parts of their businesses to Waco.

Meek encouraged each audience member to use his or her voice to contribute to the direction and culture of Waco, specifically the downtown and new riverfront areas. During the small group discussion time, attendees exchanged dreams and visions for our city and discussed specific ways to impact its future. For all you pioneers out there - Waco may be the place for you.
